Divisadero Lights Project
From NOPNA
2009 Divisadero Holiday Lights Project
Presented by the North of Panhandle Neighborhood, Alamo Square Neighborhood and Divisadero Merchants Associations
Dear Divisadero Merchants and Neighbors,
Join us as we gather local merchants, residents and neighborhood groups to help light Divisadero Street for the Holidays. The Holiday Lights Project shows our community as it is; inviting, vibrant and full of life!
But we cannot do it without you! We need both your sponsorship and your permission to plug in lights that are in front of your business or home. Total cost to light up one tree is $200 and covers insurance, equipment, installation, maintenance, and repair. Your donation is tax-deductible and we offer VIP recognition in our marketing and PR campaign along with our deepest gratitude for your support of the neighborhood. You are improving the quality of life in our area.
This year we hope to have the lights go up the week of November 15th and stay up until about January 15th. During this time we would also love to merchants and neighbors living on Divisadero to light up their windows from the inside to add to the holiday atmosphere.
In summary:
• Please donate to support the Divisadero Holiday Lights Project. We suggest a minimum $100 donation, but are grateful for whatever you can contribute. And yes – it’s tax deductible!
• If you have a large tree in front of your business, please participate by allowing us to plug into your property.
For those interested in getting involved please contact Divisadero Lights Project Manager Adam Straus. And thank you in advance for helping to keep Divisadero a great street!
Best wishes for a safe and happy holiday,
Leela Gill, North of the Panhandle Neighborhood Association
